2008 Programs & Fees

Village (11 year olds)

$1,200 The CISV Village is a four-week camp, attended by delegations of 11-year-olds (2 boys and 2 girls) and adult leader from each of twelve different nations. The delegates participate in a multi-language camp featuring a mix of educational, cultural and sporting activities. Each year CISV hosts about 60 Villages around the world, which are open only to 11-year-olds. This year Denver will send three delegations to:

Finland

December 27 to January 23, 2009 (winter village)

Junior Counselor (16 year olds)

$1,100
In each CISV Village, the staff is comprised of adult leaders as well as Junior Counselors from throughout the world. The JCs must be 16 years-old and participate as a “leader in training” at a CISV Village. This year, Denver will select one 16/17 year-old male and female to attend a Village in:

Male to Norway

Interchange (13-14 year olds)

$1,000
Interchange is a family-centered, two-phased group exchange between two international CISV Chapters. The delegation consists of three boys, three girls and one adult leader. During the first phase of the Interchange, the delegation will visit partners of the same age and gender in another country for a period of time. During the second phase, the delegation that visited first becomes host to its partners for the same amount of time.

3 boys and 3 girls, plus leader and junior leader to Brazil. Dates to be determined

Seminar Camp (17 - 18 year olds)

$1,200
Seminar Camp is a three-week multi-cultural experience for 17 and 18 year olds. The camp, with 30-35 participants from many nations, creates an environment of sharing ideas, concerns and living together as a community. The group will look at the world as a whole and discuss important and timely issues.
