International Youth Meetings
Ages: Specific to program area	International Youth Meeting (19+ year old)
	An International Youth Meeting (IYM) is a 6-10 day long international activity coordinated in different areas. CISVers can attend it several times in their life. Therefore it is organized for different age groups (11-13, 13-15, 16-18, 19 and up).
	The aim of the International Youth Meetings are to give incentive to involve and motivate and thereby keep people in CISV, by creating a special environment that respects the different needs of the different age groups. To provide the opportunity for Local Chapters and all CISV members who participate, organize and/or lead an International Youth Meeting, to increase the experience in program responsibility, leadership and practical organization. In addition, the IYM reinforces and continues the aims of the CISV programs and activities by providing an environment that has an intense and active schedule because of its length. It offers an opportunity to use themes in an international environment as a way to get deeper information about real life issues and, thereby, a place where ideas of other people/organizations could be exchanged with the ideas of an international CISV group.
